5 Reasons for Buying the Park Hopper Tickets

I feel like one of the things that sets me apart from many travel agents is that I want to get you the absolute best I can for your money, even if it costs me some of my commission. I know how hard you work for your money, and you deserve to spend that money the way you see fit.
When I'm helping someone with planning a Walt Disney World trip, I always highly suggest getting the Park Hopper tickets. First, let me do a little defining. Park Hopper tickets allow you to visit all four theme parks as many times as you would like everyday for the duration of your Walt Disney World ticket pass. So say you purchase a 4-day Park Hopper option. During the four days of your tickets, you could go to any of the four parks as much as you want during those four days. That right there alone should make you want to purchase the Park Hopper option, but if that doesn't appeal to you, here are my Top 5 Reasons for Purchasing the Park Hopper Tickets.

1. You get to go to the parks as much as you want!
Ok, so I know I just explained this, but I want to reiterate this again. With just a base ticket, you can only go to one Walt Disney World Park a day. Let's go with the 4-day example again. Say you really love Animal Kingdom, and you spend two days there. Well, you now don't get to visit one of the four theme parks because you spent two of your tickets at one park. Purchasing the Park Hopper option ensures that you won't get to miss out on any of the theme parks.

2. You get to take advantage of some awesome WDW events.
Just getting to go to WDW is a big win in my book. But WDW is always having some great shows and sights throughout the year. Let's use one of my clients for an example. I am currently working on their WDW itinerary. So what I do is give them a map and daily schedule of which parks to go to and when. I also set up their dining reservations and FastPasses (that will be another blog). While they will be in WDW, Magic Kingdom will have Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. So, one of the days they will be at Hollywood Studios for their dining reservation and to visit the park. But, they will leave that afternoon and go to Magic Kingdom to attend the party. You can't do that with just a base ticket.

3. Park Hopper tickets make it easier to eat at all of your favorite places.
In regards to time management, this is one of the best reasons to purchase the Park Hopper tickets. Walt Disney World is known for their dining experiences, and my frequent visitor clients have their favorite spots that they must eat at during their trips. Sadly, many of these restaurants get reserved very quickly! To make sure you get to go to all of your favorites, the Park Hopper tickets allow you to enter one park to ride the rides, and then go to another to eat dinner. Then after dinner, you could go to a completely different park! I know that sounds like a lot, but you really do get to experience so much more by making your dining reservations (again, another blog) and having the Park Hopper tickets.

4. Park Hopper tickets are great for shorter trips.
Let me be honest, I would recommend Park Hopper tickets no matter how long you were staying at Walt Disney World. However, if you're only going to be down for 3 or 4 days, you must get the Park Hopper tickets. I know by theory that if you go to WDW for 4 days and you get a 4-day base ticket, you would be able to go each park. And you would. But, you would also likely miss out on a lot of the extra hours, extra events, dining reservations, and likely due to time restraints, some of the rides at each park. The Park Hopper tickets would allow you to make the most of your vacation during that short period of time.

5. You'll be prepared for unexpected interruptions.
One thing in life we know that we can never prepare for is the weather. And we all know how forecasts can change very quickly. The Park Hopper tickets allows you to be ready for weather interruptions or any other interruptions. If it decides to rain one day, and you have to spend the rest of the afternoon watching movies in your Disney resort, you don't have to worry about missing out because you can go back to that park later. If the kiddos just need to rest and nap one morning, you won't be missing out on a park because the Park Hopper tickets will allow you to make up that time later. With a base ticket, you won't be able to come back on a different day, and you essentially are losing money.
